About

Why you need MediGlobe

MediGlobe is built for people on the move: in a foreign country it is easy to feel lost among unfamiliar names on the pharmacy shelf. The app brings medications from 13 countries into one reference, translates and explains them — fully offline, and your medical data stays on your device.

Data sources: open regulatory databases (OpenFDA, RxNorm) and official medication leaflets.

Travel insurance

Medical care abroad adds up fast: a single doctor's visit or a couple of nights in hospital can run into thousands. Travel insurance covers treatment, emergencies and evacuation while you're away — a bit more peace of mind for when a trip doesn't go to plan.

Built with care for your data

Offline first

The catalog, symptoms and first aid work without the internet. On the road, in the mountains, on roaming — it all just works.

Your data is protected

Requests to the AI assistant are sent over a secure connection. Your medical data never leaves your device.

Data on your device

Your medications, allergies and symptoms are stored only on your device — not in a cloud.

Q&A

Frequently asked questions

Do I need the internet to use it?+
No. The medication catalog, symptoms, first aid and the interaction checker all work fully offline. The pharmacy map shows previously-opened areas offline; pharmacy search and the AI assistant need the internet.
What happens to my data?+
Your medications, allergies and symptoms stay on your device. AI requests go through a secure proxy without sharing personal data with third parties.
When is the iOS version coming?+
The iOS version is already in development. Android is on the way — follow us on social media to be the first to hear about the Google Play release.
Is it a replacement for a doctor?+
No. MediGlobe is a reference tool: it helps you get oriented but does not diagnose and does not replace a professional consultation. If you feel unwell, see a doctor.
How much does the app cost?+
The download and the entire reference base are free: the 3250-drug catalog, first aid and offline search. The smart tools — the AI package scanner, symptom and interaction checks, the dose calculator — are available with a Premium subscription.
From the makers

MediGlobe grew out of our own situation: a foreign country, a pharmacy, an unfamiliar name on the box — and no idea what it is or whether it is even safe. We are building a tool we use ourselves: honest and offline.
