Operator: the MediGlobe project (contact — [email protected]). The operator's legal entity will be named here once it is registered.
By downloading, installing, or using the MediGlobe mobile application (the "App"), you ("you", "the user") agree to these Terms of Use (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
⚕️ In short: MediGlobe is a reference and information tool, not a medical service. Information may be inaccurate. In an emergency, call your local emergency number. Always consult a doctor or pharmacist. You use the app at your own risk.
MediGlobe is an information and reference catalog of medications, symptoms, and first aid for travelers. The App:
Always consult a qualified doctor or pharmacist before taking, combining, stopping, or changing any medication. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information from the App.
The App is not intended for use in emergencies. In an emergency, immediately call your local emergency number (e.g. 112 in the EU and on most mobile networks worldwide, 911 in the US, or your local number) or go to the nearest emergency department.
Medication data, dosages, interactions, prices, AI-feature results (symptom hints, package scanning, finding equivalents abroad, dose calculation), and first-aid materials are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Medication availability, brand names, prices, prescription status, and legal classification vary by country and change over time. AI features may return incorrect or incomplete results. You are responsible for verifying any information with a qualified professional and with the official product leaflet before acting on it.
Some medications that are over-the-counter in one country are restricted, prescription-only, or banned in others (e.g. those containing phenobarbital, codeine, tramadol, or pseudoephedrine). You are solely responsible for complying with the laws of every country you travel to or through, including customs and import rules. MediGlobe does not guarantee the legal status of any medication in any jurisdiction.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MediGlobe, its operator, staff, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any harm to health, arising out of or in connection with the use of (or inability to use) the App or reliance on any information it provides — even if the possibility of such damages was known. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted and in any case to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim (which may be zero). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You use the App and act on its information at your own risk and responsibility.
Certain features (AI package scanner, AI symptom chat, interaction checker, dose calculator, and the "Travel health" library) require a paid Premium subscription, sold through Google Play and managed via RevenueCat. Billing, renewal, trial periods (if any), and cancellation are governed by Google Play's terms. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Google Play account. Except as required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices may change with notice.
The App, its design, code, original texts, icons, and data compilation belong to the operator or its licensors and are protected by law. Third-party trademarks and brands (e.g. medication brand names) belong to their owners and are used solely for identification/reference. You may not copy, scrape, resell, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works except as permitted by law.
The App uses third-party services and open data sources (including, for example, Anthropic Claude via an encrypted proxy for AI features, Cloudflare, RevenueCat, Google Play, OpenFDA, Wikipedia/Wikidata, PubChem, RxNorm, currency-rate services, and map data). Their content and availability are outside our control and governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Data-handling details are in our Privacy Policy.
You agree not to misuse the App, including: not using it for actual medical diagnosis or treatment decisions without professional oversight; not overloading, disrupting, or gaining unauthorized access to the App or its backend; and not using it unlawfully.
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date; continued use means acceptance. We may suspend or discontinue the App or any feature at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the competent courts at the operator's location, unless mandatory rules provide otherwise. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence continue to apply, and you may have the right to bring proceedings in your place of residence.
Questions about these Terms: [email protected]. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
