MediGlobe is an offline-first reference catalog for travelers. We collect no personal accounts, sell no data, and store sensitive health data exclusively on your device.
MediGlobe is an independent mobile application developed by David Pikalov (mediglobe@gmail.com). The app is published on Google Play and available as a standalone Android APK.
We do not collect, store or transmit:
The following data is stored only on your device and never leaves it:
| Data | Where stored | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Blood type, chronic conditions, allergies, emergency contact | Android Keystore (SecureStore) | Personal medical reference card |
| Favourite drugs, browsing history | AsyncStorage | Personalised experience |
| App language and theme preference | AsyncStorage | User interface settings |
| Selected countries (home / current) | AsyncStorage | Price and analog display |
| API cache (Wikipedia, drug data) | AsyncStorage | Offline performance |
Sensitive medical fields (blood type, allergies, chronic conditions, emergency contact) are stored in the Android Keystore — the same secure hardware-backed storage used by banking apps. This data cannot be accessed by other apps and is never transmitted over the network.
MediGlobe makes network requests to the following services when the device is online:

⚠️ AI Features (symptom chat, drug interactions, abroad analog search, package scanner): When you use these features, the text you type or the photo you take is sent to Anthropic Claude API via an encrypted proxy. We do not store these queries on our servers. Anthropic may process them per their privacy policy. AI features require an active internet connection and are optional — the app works fully offline without them.
AI-powered features route requests through a Cloudflare Workers proxy operated by us. This proxy:
MediGlobe is designed for travelers aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent and believe your child has used AI features that transmitted data, please contact us at mediglobe@gmail.com.
Since all personal data is stored locally on your device:
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be published at this URL. Continued use of MediGlobe after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the new policy. We will note the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
